Eric--

Many companies not on the list.  Consider this list as a gross
underrepresentation of the true number of companies using open source.

For some companies, open source is a "dirty little secret":  They're
not quite ready to "come out" and tell the world they're embracing
open source.  I personally know of a handful of local companies (some
of which are well into the Fortune 500 list) that don't appear on this
list but make extensive use of open source.
