I need help with cups. My Suse 9.1 system stopped printing. Period. 
I can no longer access http://localhost:631 for configuration and cannot
determine why. Cupsd is running, I don't remember any installs that should 
have affected cups. This problem has me totally lost.

When I try to print, the print windows pops up ok, when I click print the job 
goes into queue and just sits there. It acts as though the printer is off line
but the admin tool (http access) isn't available so I can't verify that.
# lpstat -p
# printer hp_deskjet3820 is idle.  enabled since Jan 01 00:00
        Ready to print.

As I understand that message, everything should be ok. It is a usb printer 
and it does work when I connect it to my laptop. The same usb port works 
fine with my scanner, so it doesn't look like hardware. The clue is the cups
web tool isn't working.
