	I use gnucash.. Although I don't have any experience
using it as part of a payroll system.

	Other folks have suggested SQLLedger in the past.  If I
wasn't already running gnucash, I'd seriously consider it (as it
is, I periodically revisit the option to convert to SQLLedger,
the primary concern being the importing of the data.)
