[NTLUG:Discuss] Problem to mount USB memory stick

FAT16? Drivers? How about a 1G stick from Microcenter that worked 
fine in December, just before the cats decided it was a shiny new toy. 
I found it Thursday hidden under some stuff, end cap still on, no visible 
damage but it would not work. Linux wouldn't see it, WinXP didn't either
so I figured that the internal battery had quit. (It doesn't have one, you say?)
Well, whatever it is, it quit. It cost me a padded envelope and postage to 
send it  to the girl who promised me that she would swap it for a 2G unit 
as soon as she received it. Maybe I'll get one that will keep working.
