Yeah you're right on both counts I suppose. NetworkManager gets in my way
at times as well. It would be NICE if I could tell NetworkManager to
ignore certain interfaces. I used to run up to three network devices on my
laptop at once depending on the location and I always had to stop the
NetworkManager service to allow any creativity to happen at all.
And if there *IS* a way to make NetworkManager to stop interfering with
cerain devices, someone tell me?
