Subject: [NTLUG:Discuss] YUM Operational Problem

I am having a problem getting yum to operate. I believe it is centered
on the "greysector" portion of the core repo, but I do not understand
enough. The output that I get is:

# yum update
Loading "installonlyn" plugin
Setting up Update Process
Setting up repositories
core [1/6]
updates [2/6]
greysector-all [3/6]

Would appreciate any guidance.

Dennis,

I had this problem with several repositories in Fedora 3. Solution follows:
1. Put a # in the first column of any line with a troublesome or missing repository, making the line a comment.
2, Try again. Things should work, or maybe another trouble message will cause bad feeling. Shoot any new troubles.
3. The missing repository may reappear in the future. Delete the # and try. If it is still bad, replace the #.
