Chris - I think
people would love to 'take up the slack' for you - you do so much for the
group, no need this needs to be on your shoulders!

> Can we
(should we) cancel?

How 'bout this...if we can make a list of
the things necessary for the show - and have people sign-up for them..then
you'll know it'll be taken care of...if no-body signs up, then we call
it.

I can think of the following tasks:

Emcee the
Event: -
Food Coordinator - order, pickup pizza, drinks, cups,
plates, ice, napkins
Money Coordinator - pay for pizza drinks,
request/receive donations, settle up at end of day
Clean-Up
Coordinator -
Events Coordinator - who will be the 'buck stops here'
as far as the exhibits go

Let''s add to this list and SIGN-UP
to help Chris out!?

probably not going to

As I've been
out last year teaching a class (and introducing about 20 people to Open
Source, Linux, theOpenCD, etc) - and bringing that group to the Linux Fair
last year - I gotta tell you what stood out to them and what they talked
about the most.......how warm and friendly and willing to talk/share
people were to them.

Many of them asked about the event this
year and are planning on coming...

I hope we still do
it....other than demo'ing - let me know what else I can do!
