[NTLUG:Discuss] How about NOT having the Linux Fair?

Actually, that is a very viable and realistic configuration. Running
Linux as the base OS for VMWare, and running instances of Windows,
linux, etc on top. Great for development/pilot installations without
having to buy multiple machines.
