Thanks for the response. This is not all I can afford. I have a main
machine (AMD 64) but use it to run my small business. Can't afford to be
testing distro's on it and accidentally take it out. So the idea was to
use this older machine to try out different distro's and see which one
would be a good choice for the production machine. Then I would install
the full version on the production machine having some confidence in the
distro and the installation process.
I think the test machine could use some more memory and perhaps a better
supported video card (Matrox?). If you have anything like this, I would
be glad to buy it.
One more thing. From my choice of distro's you probably guessed I like
KDE. Just my preference.
Are you going to be at the Linux Fair?
