While you can have multiple GRUBs installed on multiple MBRs you will
have to use the chainload option in whichever GRUB boots or maybe play
games with active partitions (probably much worse than chainloading).
Although there is no real easy way to have multiple OSes in a
configuration having a single GRUB handle all of them seems to make
things less confusing. If you want to consider this route I did a
presentation recently on multi-booting and posted the handout on the
NTLUG Web site. From the main menu select Articles followed by Multi-Boot.
