Ive been running it on one of
my production web servers since it came out - while there seems to be many
upgrades from a desktop stand-point (which are of no use for the
server/CLI environment) - what you'll gain is the upgrade in all of the
'systems'

like CentOS 5 uses PHP5, a newer MySQL and Apache
2.2....so changing actually might start breaking things...but that's
progress....grin

The machine is running rock solid and serves
pages blazingly fast
