I have a problem getting sound out of FC6. Neither videos nor wav files
play. Yet, the same videos and wav files play fine in Windows XP. 

Googling shows lots of complaints, but darned if I saw a resolution. 

Anybody know how to get sound out of FC6?

Works great here. Maybe your install didn't catch the sound 
hardware. Maybe the default mixer setting is all the way down.
