thanks, i tried a couple of the programs they list, neither
(wp2Krtf.exe and wp6rtf.exe) appears to actually complete
installation.  the install proceeds but runs so quickly i can't see
where it supposedly writes to, and i can't find any .exe that appears
to be associated with these files.

i also tried running the exe with a file as an argument and got an
error message.

any other suggestions, anyone?
