Yeah, been meaning to stop using hotmail... guess I'll go ahead and 
subscribe to NTLUG discuss with my regular email account.  I run a Japanese 
language environment in support of my other activities which, at times, 
requires I write in Japanese from time to time and the only way I can do 
that effectively is to run in Japanese language mode.  Hotmail then thinks 
it knows what I want and does everything up in Japanese for me.

I wonder if, when I use Thunderbird email, if it will cause any such 
problems for other people?
