KDE  menu in openSUSE has been replaced with kickoff... which is
better than slab, but does suffer from beagle integration.  If
you want that "index my whole filesystem" feature... fine... but
beagle is written in mono... which is another word for "plethora
of defunct processes everywhere".

It's fairly easy to turn off (and go back to normal KDE
menus) in KDE though.
