[NTLUG:Discuss] Email client feature

Noticed yesterday that I can't attach a separate email to a reply in 
Thunderbird 1.5 (haven't felt like upgrading because Firefox 2.0 seemed 
significantly slower on my PC and I suspect the same will be true of 
Thunderbird).

Is this possible and I just don't know how?  If it's not possible is 
there an email client out there which can do this (and doesn't have some 
other significant drawback)?
