Can someone tell me why these have been dropped from inclusion in the 
major distributions such as Red hat and SuSE?  Is it because they are 
junk?  Is it just because they "lost" the "market presence" battle?

How does Abiword compare to OO Writer?

How does Koffice compare to OO?

If it is a fair comparison, how does Inkscape compare to OO Draw?
