OO Draw has some nice features.  It is vector-based like Inkscape (but 
not native SVG like Inkscape) as opposed to raster like Gimp.  However, 
after a quick look at Inkscape, I agree that it looks better.  I saw 
some things it had that OO Draw didn't.  However, without doing a more 
thorough comparison I can't say it's better overall.  I did a little 
research and found some links which talked about both.  Inkscape does 
have it's downsides in comparison to Draw.
