[NTLUG:Discuss] Eject CD before reboot?

Much thanks for all the awesome help in the past - it's been
invaluable. Got another one for you guys:
I'm creating an automated CD to image computers for a school lab. I've
written a custom script with a 'reboot' at the end. However, there is
no opportunity to have the user remove the CD before the reboot.
If I put a pause and an eject before the reboot, the filesystem won't be
unmounted, so it can't eject.
Is there a way to get Linux to eject the CD after shutting everything
down, and then giving a pause for the user to remove the CD? I've seen
Ubuntu do it before to remove the LiveCD, but I'm not sure how to figure
out how they do it.
Thanks in advance for the great advice. =)
