Simplest and probably safest way is to shut down the system and remove one of the drives. Force
the array back on in degraded mode with just the one drive. The real issue you'll have is when
you try to bring the old drive back into the array. It might be better to just delete all the
data and add it back to the array as a spare and let it resync.
