[NTLUG:Discuss] Remote assistance utility

I seek something free and easy.

Like many here, I am often the 'technical support' for friends and 
family and they mostly use Windows.  Wouldn't it be nice if we had 
access to one of those snazzy remote assistance tools we've seen used by 
various other support services?

You know, the ones where the user visits a web page and then the support 
person can control your desktop and do whatever is needed?

I'd like to be able to set something like this up for friends and family 
on my own web server to enable me to fix things for people.  Isn't there 
anything in the free/OSS repertoire that can do this without the user 
being burdened with skills, knowledge or understanding?  (Going to a web 
page and clicking "yes" is about as skilled as many people get you know.)
