I would agree with that but if it were possible, I would much prefer to 
have both ends "anywhere" and potentially behind a NAT.  I may be in 
Japan or elsewhere when the need arises.  I'm not always 'home.'

Further, one would need to set up access rules in the firewall to gate 
incoming requests for this service to my machine.  I'd rather not have 
to as it's yet another thing for network scanners to find and attempt to 
exploit.
