My guess is you might want to base it relative to resources of the web
server and the content you're delivering. 50,000 hits a month should be a
pretty darn light load if you've got a decent box serving all static text
pages. The load will go up if you're web site contains server side
scripting. Then don't forget to factor in how resource intensive the scripts
are.
