I have a question about antivirus for Linux.

What do y'all think about AVG for Linux? I am considering it because the company I work for said if I have an antivirus on my Linux box that they can verify runs once a day I can put the system on their network. 

 

I am currently running the pro version on my desktop and I like it, AVG scanned a terabyte in about 4 hours and well let's say Symantec is lacking severely,
