The zip file must be in /tmp. If you just want to get rid of the error, remove the javadoc package. The javadoc package is just a "helper" application which installs the zip file from /tmp.

Subject: [NTLUG:Discuss] apt-get question

Hello all! After attempting to install the javadocs package
(unsuccessfully), I am now prompted with a

This package is an installer package, it does not actually contain the
JDK documentation. You will need to go download one of the
archives:

    jdk-6-doc.zip jdk-6-doc-ja.zip

(choose the non-update version if this is the first installation).
Please visit

    http://java.sun.com/javase/downloads/

now and download. The file should be owned by root.root and be copied
to /tmp.

[Press RETURN to try again, 'no' + RETURN to abort]

Every time I install any package. It's annoying because I have to tell it
"no" every time (either that or run apt in "quiet" mode).

Any Ideas?

Thanks
