[NTLUG:Discuss] video card recommendation

Howdy,
  I want to build a system with a high end video card and I would like
to hear people's recommendations.  I have it narrowed down to two cards.
  eVGA 6200 LE with 256 meg ram
  ATI Radeon X600 256mb meg
 Both cards are PCI-E and are the first cards I will have bought with
that bus.  My previous high end card is a Ti4200/64mb bought at Chris
Cox's recommendation and it has done great.  I really can't see how it
could be improved, but the new system has no AGP slot and I can get
either of the two cards I mention for under $20, which seems like a lot
for a video card.
 The system is an Intel 915 based motherboard, if that makes a
difference.  I have a 3.4 GHz P4 to use in it and this is going to be a
general purpose computer.  I plan on staying with all open source
drivers for whichever I get.
