Ahhhh, that's nothin :-) I'm building out a monster desktop built
for virtualization and $20 won't even cover the tax on the graphics
card. nVidia makes some monster graphics cards that you can tie
together from some cool visualization capabilities. Take several
PCI-e cards and aggregate them (nVidia's SLI technology - RAID for
graphics adapters) and you have

Put a couple of nVidia 8800s or a 9800 in there and you have a
pretty stunning graphics capability.
I'm just working through chipset and driver considerations
before I start building.
What what are you homebuilder's doing for your systems ? atx
form factor and a good chassis or do any of you get the extended
chassis and put server boards in there for greater expansion ?
I'm thinking a couple of quad core sockets would be sooooooo cool
in a desktop - well, maybe cool isn't the appropriate description
as they will be anything but cool - but you get my point.
Any nVidia 750, 780 or 790 board owners out there ? Intel boards ?
