[NTLUG:Discuss] help with ssh in kubuntu hardy heron

hello. i am new to posting on the list but have been lurking for some
time. i recently had to reinstall one of my kubuntu computers, using
hardy heron. i have been unable to re establish my passwordless ssh
connections to the machine and i really do not undertand why. i am
hoping some one with a really good undertanding of key based
authentication can point out my errors. i assume the person would need
the -v output and i am prepared to provide along with anything else.
