Howdy,
Well, I would say sure, it is less reliable. But, the more important
question is maintenance for the long term. For example, try to go to
namesys.com. The domain is offline. The company is pretty much
dissolved, as I understand it. So, I can see why people would be
concerned about using it long term. I suspect it will work out, but
Reiser has always been a little flaky. I use it and I don't mean that
to sound too bad, but it does get patched more than any other
filesystem, as far as I can see.
