[NTLUG:Discuss] SuSE 10.3 really slow in some respects

This seems to have developed in the recent past.  I press delete on a
Thunderbird message and about three seconds later it responds.  The
KBounce game is sluggish.  Other applications don't seem to be affected.
    Any thoughts would be appreciated, thanks for your help.  Here's
