Ah..there it is... (KDE4 = Right click taskbar / task manager settings
/ show tooltips)

The "Windows {tm} look and feel" is a moving target these days.
Besides...what's wrong with a common interface style? Why do I have to
keep relearning GUIs!! I'm about to give up GUIs altogether and go back
to text only. Volkswriter anyone?

Well, the monitor WAS detected properly but I am unable to select a
different refresh rate in kradnrtray(Resize and Rotate). The monitor
was detected at having a sync range of 50-something Hz to 70Hz so that
makes me think that it *SHOULD* be changeable in
Resize-and-Rotate....but it doesn't seem to work.

OK.. well that was fun... my desktop is back --again. I kept losing the
panels and desktop icons. UG..
