Leroy - unfortunately, I don't have an answer - just an addition to
think about in the discussion.
I really wish SuSE would include
older kernels for that 'just in case' issue also....but I think it's more
than just the kernel itself.....I believe it also contains the modules
& configs to work with those older kernels (so it's not just a copy of
the kernel - from what I understand - which could be totally wrong).
>From a space stand-point.....it's actually pretty easy to 'yum
uninstall kernel-1.2.3.4' and clean those up.......I'd much rather have
the extra security blanket than not?!
