[NTLUG:Discuss] ubuntu and Media!!

Hi- All,
   I'm having trouble getting Ubuntu 8.04 and podcasts..Works fine where
flash/ogg is used, but playing certain podcasts where subscriptions are
required - NOTHING works, no player I've tried...VLC-UBUNTU
NATIVE-BANSHEE, ETC.

   This is the URL in question.  It represents the 3 hr. program....It 
plays great in media player 11 (MS)...I can move forward/backward to 
skip commercials...The main website is coasttocoastam.com.
   Nothing in ubuntu will play this program??  VLC is the closest but, 
it won't play beyond the initial segment!!!!GGRRRRR!!!!
   I've even tried wine and MS player 10 - which wine suggests - won't 
even install!  Internal error.
   Something must be turned off or needs changing to operate correctly, 
in ubuntu?  But what?  All the forums at ubuntu have NO idea what I'm 
talking about????? They can't replicate the problem since you must 
subscribe to do that....
   There must be someone in this LUG area that listens to C2C and 
subscribes to "streamlink" and is running ubuntu???  I hope?
