Well that was 50 mins of my life that I'll never get back. :)

Just show me where to turn off all the window animations and shading so 
that I can make it go as fast as possible.  I want speed, not flashy.  I 
hate waiting on flashiness...it's so...unneeded.

I agree with Daniel too,  the less blurry ANYTHING the better these 
days.  I already squint enough.
