[NTLUG:Discuss] USB hard drive will not mount in openSUSE 11,0

Maybe I am a , oh here is that word , "Maverick" ,  but I do not unmount USB
drives , the unmount function is just to make sure that data is fully
written to the drive . If the USB device and KDE app or Gnome app indicates
it is finished writing , then it is ok to remove the drive with out
unmounting .  Been doing it for years , in Linux and Winders both with no
loss of data .
