Because you have to mix the colors to get the best picture. There are Lasers
that have great pictures but you have to buy above the home unit to get one.
Even at the 1500 price range you get a mediocre picture bubble jet printer
can mix the color while wet and get a reasonable close match. Then we get to
the Phaser which is actually melted wax. I have a 2500 professional HP color
laser and the color pictures it prints are great if I buy the right paper do
not use cheap toner and use the Hp tools to make the print.

If the laser color quality is better than ink jet why is the photo
quality not quite as good on a laser?
