Jay - so what you're suggesting is not really a 'transparent bridge' -
this is like one of those red-light/traffic cameras that watch all of the
'traffic' on a road go by (by being a promiscuous connection on an old
style hub that all packets get shared on)?

Hmmm....neat
approach.

or did I get it wrong and there is a 'transparent
bridge' mode?
