[NTLUG:Discuss] Font problems with IE emulator on Ubuntu

Hi-

I am running Ubuntu 8.10. After I installed WINE and Internet Explorer
emulators (IES4Linux then Crossover), I am having major font problems with
both.  The text in the IE Menubar choices (File, Edit, View, etc.) plus the
URL window is blurry and apparently overlapping.  Things I have already
done:
1) installed ubuntu-restricted-extras
2) installed MS True Core Fonts.
Is anyone else having this problem?  How can it be corrected?  Is it just a
settings issue with Ubuntu?
