[NTLUG:Discuss] OT - didn't Sun just acquire MySQL

That image is hillarious. I had a good laugh looking at the pie chart.

So so far the news has had little impact around the OOo sphere. It
seems that the news has been rather positive also on the MySQL end.
Right now the MySQL conference many users seem positive saying they
will find a better proposal with Oracle backing it (if they are
backing it). There was a feeling that Sun didn't know what it was
doing with MySQL which was one of the reasons the CEO left Sun.

As for OpenOffice.org is too early to predict what will this mean for
the organization, however there are many services from the community
being launched and also some innovations taking places within to keep
OpenOffice.org competitive for years to come.
