[NTLUG:Discuss] USB External storage only

When you plug a USB drive in, a pop-up window should come up and ask what
it is you want to do with it, otherwise, you should find an icon on the
desktop for it and when you click on it, the drive will be mounted and the
file manager will automatically show you it's contents.
Note: If you intend to share this drive [some day] with a MS Windows system,
you should format it with vfat filesystem, otherwise, the MS Windows machine
will not be able to read or write to it, (unless you install some special
software).
In other words, it's no different from the way a thumb-drive or
flash-memory-drive or a digital camera works. It is the same behaviour.
