[NTLUG:Discuss] Suggestions for FOSS landscaping CAD

I have been looking for a CAD program for Linux for years, to use in my CAD
operation here at work. VeriCAD (http://www.varicad.com/en/home/) is the
closest that I have found to AutoCAD, though it does not do xref's. It will
make .DWG files, which is what your Architect uses, or it can make .DXF
files that can be opened in AutoCAD also. There is a free 30 day version
available, but it is several hundred dollars to buy.

There is a thing called LinuxCAD that is available for sale, but it does not
work (anyone want to buy my copy?).
