So, you just said, "long-battery life is NORMAL on the netbooks".

I disagree.  With that said, many netbooks do have an extended battery
option that adds weight and size that can provide "normal" long-battery
life.  But I know for a fact, that not all netbooks have good battery
life (small/light ones will tend to use a 3 cell).

Don't take my word for it though.  You can read what AMD's Moorehead
says about issues... or I found this link to be ok as well:

My point is, that in general, netbook batter life is not that great.
There CAN be exceptions to the rule.
