I have a L9400, 1.86GHz, 3G memory.

I think the L9300 is actually 1.6GHz.

For the work I do, my laptop is quite fast. In fact, for compiling
Parrot and Perl 6 it's about 33% faster than the 2.80GHz Intel Pentium D
processor that is in the desktop machine I bought a couple of years ago.
In other words, for my purposes the Elitebook with the L9400 is
plenty fast relative to the other machines I'm used to using.
