Maybe this is common knowledge but I ran across an article today which
answered my "where does the money come from" question about Firefox.
Reports indicate that most of it's $52.9 million in revenues in 2005
came from a partnership arrangement with Google although it's audited
financial report
(www.mozilla.org/foundation/documents/mf-2006-audited-financial-statement.pdf)
doesn't name the source. It seems that every time someone uses
Firefox's Google search they get money. So, if you want improvements -
go search...
Wonder if this is why Firefox development seems to be so much further
ahead than Thunderbird, another one of those "Hmmm" questions.
