[NTLUG:Discuss] First Saturday

This morning I went to the First Saturday thing downtown, and found that the
DFW Unix Users Group had a booth there, including a distinguished member of
NTLUG (whose name escapes me, as do most names these days).  They had a
table set up, offering to install Unix or Linux.  They borrowed a $40
computer from a vendor nearby and installed Linux on it, just for fun.  This
seemed like a cool way to get some exposure for Linux.  There are lots of
geeks, some of them buying boxes without OS's.  Some of them might want to
try Linux.

I am planning to go again next month.  If the guys who were there will
contact me we can coordinate times and resources.
