[NTLUG:Discuss] First Saturday

It was fun, but I had to leave early. We set up about 7AM. We did an
install on a Dell desktop, which people stopped to ask about. I had an Asus
netbook running with Xubuntu, and a big Lenovo laptop with Kubuntu on
display. There were allot of questions from passers-by about what we were
doing (a few wanted to know how much we wanted for the netbook, despite the
"Not For Sale" tag). We passed out business cards with information on the
Unix and Linux users groups, and a few CD's of Suse and CentOS. I had to
leave about 9, but this seemed like an excellent way to promote Unix and
Linux and the users groups.

We need some signage for next month, maybe a white board or two, and a
bannner for the table. If anyone has an interesting box to display, it
would help generate interest. More people would be good too.

Chuck
