Has been so long , I have had one of the USB modems since the first one came
out .
The file I believe is correct , seems that there was another file that
needed a entry as well .
I looked and found a file "modprobe.preload" as a needed entry .
I did a write up a couple years back on Mandriva form about how to do this .
