[NTLUG:Discuss] RRD Graph Question

Anybody in here have much experience with creating RRD graphs? I'm trying to use a slightly modified version of the rrd_traffic.pl script found here: http://martybugs.net/linux/rrdtool/traffic.cgi to monitor the traffic on a CentOS 5.4 box. It's working great except that the traffic is showing up to be way less than what the Cisco firwall & switches are reporting. 

Started streaming an HD youtube video and after about 10 minutes the switch & firewall were reporting an average of around 1800-1900kBytes. However according to the rrd_traffic graphs I was only averaging around 380kBps. I'm still reviewing the RRDtool site (http://oss.oetiker.ch/rrdtool/tut/rrd-beginners.en.html) to learn how all of the functions work but thought that I would see if anybody on here had experienced a similar issue.
