[NTLUG:Discuss] ubuntu 9.10 MBR corrupted!! Grub error 17

once you "fix" windows your computer will no longer see or work with linux
at the
boot level or any other non M$ product.  you'll have to reinstall a boot
loader that
has the capability to do that.
