So, in summary, you did an unsupported upgrade between release versions, 
then you did an unsupported upgrade to a beta version, and you're 
surprised it's not working right?

And on top of that, instead of actually doing something constructive 
like file bug reports (which would take about as long as writing this 
rant), you're not going to contribute anything back?

Wow.  Seriously - just "wow."
